Zunder is the Ultra-Fast Charging Operator with the Most Active Charging Points

Zunder, the leading operator of ultra-fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Spain and Southern Europe, has once again been recognised as the top operator in ultra-fast charging (over 150 kW) in Spain, according to the latest national ranking report published this weekend by El Español. This recognition reaffirms Zunder’s commitment to ultra-fast charging, a critical segment for driving electric vehicle adoption in Spain.

With 764 ultra-fast charging points (over 150 kW) active across the country, Zunder tops this ranking published by El Español, surpassing the second-ranked operator by over 20% in the number of such charging points. Zunder’s network allows drivers to recharge their vehicles in just a few minutes, catering to the demands of both private users and transport professionals, while positioning Zunder as a leader in the transition to efficient and sustainable electric mobility in Spain.

Daniel Pérez, CEO of Zunder, stated: “At Zunder, we believe that ultra-fast charging is essential to making electric mobility a reality. That’s why we continue working every day to offer solutions that genuinely meet the needs of both private and professional drivers. This recognition motivates us to keep leading the way towards a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable future.”

At a time when demand for electric mobility continues to grow, Zunder not only leads in the number of ultra-fast charging points but also in service quality, with outputs reaching 400 kW at key locations within its network. These charging points allow electric vehicle batteries to be recharged in just a few minutes, reducing waiting times and facilitating electric transit on both national and international routes. Furthermore, Zunder’s focus on ultra-fast charging strengthens the trust of logistics operators and fleets, who see Zunder as a key partner for integrating electric transportation into their daily operations.

With expansion plans across Southern Europe and steady growth in Spain, France, and Portugal, Zunder continues to invest in a network that anticipates the needs of next-generation electric vehicles. Ultra-fast charging is not just a technology – it is the future of electric mobility, and Zunder is leading this path with determination.

The penetration of electric vehicles in Spain has seen significant growth in recent years. According to data from the Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility (AEDIVE), registrations of electrified vehicles increased by 8.9% in April 2024, reaching 10,530 units. Spain is advancing strongly in electric mobility, and Zunder is leading this growth with a network that drives the development of charging infrastructure and facilitates the adoption of electric vehicles.

Zunder continues its international expansion with growth plans in Southern Europe, reaffirming its commitment to electric mobility and sustainability. The company positions itself as a benchmark in the sector, offering innovative solutions that make electric vehicle adoption easier in Spain and beyond.
